Dr. Biggs co-founded Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2008 with Drs. Devinder Singh, Daniel Reed and Terry Lee. He attended the University of Arizona, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular biology. His interest in cancer research took him to the University of Southern California, under the Borchard Cancer Research Fellowship. There, he performed research on the molecular genetics of cancer at the Norris Cancer Center and at LA Children’s Hospital. After completing his Doctor of Philosophy degree, he moved to Stanford University, where he earned his medical degree, and developed an interest in radiation oncology. Dr. Biggs completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he eventually served as Chief Resident. Dr. Christopher Biggs specializes in radiation oncology and is an expert in radiosurgery and gynecologic oncology.

Tara is an accomplished healthcare executive with a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Washington State University. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Carolina Kidney Partners (CKP) in Charleston, South Carolina—a physician-owned, risk-bearing contracting entity dedicated to supporting nephrology providers in the development and management of shared-risk contracts with payers. Under her leadership, CKP achieved notable success in reducing healthcare costs while maintaining high standards of patient care through the strategic use of care coordination tools.

Tara has a proven track record of successfully executing strategic plans focused on growth and managing multi-location delivery systems. Her passion for oncology care is rooted in her earlier leadership roles, including:

Jenny brings over 20 years of experience working in the field of healthcare administration and business development, holding executive leadership positions in both hospital and private practice settings since 2012. After Jenny’s younger sister Annie lost her battle to cancer at the age of 24, Jenny became particularly passionate about cancer treatment and patient care. Determined to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients, Jenny leveraged her knowledge and expertise in oncology healthcare administration and business development by starting a non-profit organization, Phoenix Cancer Support Network.

Jenny earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications Studies with a concentration in Speech from Emerson College in Boston, MA and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Columbia Southern University. Jenny lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband, Sam and their 3 children, Ari, Elliott, and Gia.

Kylie has served as AZCCC’s Corporate Counsel since 2021. A cum laude graduate of the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Kylie has ten years of practice experience representing physicians, physician groups, and healthcare organizations in a wide range of legal matters. Prior to joining AZCCC, Kylie practiced as an associate attorney at a distinguished Phoenix law firm, representing healthcare clients and business entities in matters including healthcare compliance and regulatory investigations, healthcare fraud and abuse, commercial litigation, business transactions, contract negotiation, and workplace investigations/employment disputes. Over the course of her legal career, Kylie has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Arizona Society of Healthcare Attorneys, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association.

Shelly Morgan, Senior Vice President of Operations, has a rich 30-year tenure in healthcare marked by a series of notable promotions culminating in her current role. Her professional journey began as a nursing assistant in pediatrics, followed by diverse roles in medical assisting, billing, and patient services at Ascension St. John Hospital (Michigan). Upon relocation to Arizona, Shelly embarked on a new chapter with Arizona Cancer Specialists; later merged with AZCCC. She contributed to various special projects before becoming an administrative assistant for AZCCC, where she was among the original corporate members. During her tenure, AZCCC grew from 50 to over 450 employees. Shelly finds true fulfillment in supporting cancer patients. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. She has two adult children and is expecting her first grandbaby.

Lyn obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Arizona State University and achieved her Master’s degree in Nursing, with a focus on healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. She has obtained her Certification in Healthcare Compliance and is a Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer. She has almost 30 years of experience in building compliance, quality and education programs and has held different executive leadership positions across multiple healthcare focused organizations. She was previously with AZCCC from 2016–2021 as the Compliance Officer and is excited to return to an outstanding team of professionals that are focused on providing best in class services for cancer patients. Outside of the office, she likes spending time with her family, painting (oil and acrylic), and enjoying time outdoors. She has two adult sons that are involved in the theater and sports to help give her a balance of activities in her spare time.

Timothy Howard—forty-two years shaping healthcare HR, with a bachelor’s in business admin focused on human resources from Eastern Illinois University. At this point in my career, I still carry the same passion for what I do and most importantly how I do it. One of my favorite quotes is “the good Lord gave me two ears and one mouth so, I listen twice as much as I speak.” I’ve called Southern California, South Florida, and Arizona home over my career and returned to the Valley in 2022. Married for 40 years, proud dad to three adult kids all living in the East Valley, and devoted grandad to nine grandchildren I adore playing games with and watching them grow with confidence and wisdom.

Brock Dieterle is an accomplished MBA-level accounting professional with over 16 years of experience and a proven track record of implementing strategic financial initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Specializing in healthcare, he has a deep understanding of the unique financial challenges and opportunities within this sector and uses his expertise to support the growth and prosperity of patient services. Brock is a firm believer in fostering a company culture that prioritizes staff development, patient satisfaction, financial stewardship, and accountability. In his personal time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Mitzi Castillo serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Arizona Center for Cancer Care, where she leads brand development, strategic marketing initiatives, and communication efforts for the organization and its physicians. With more than 25 years of experience spanning media, retail, sports, and healthcare, she brings a dynamic and deeply versatile skill set to her role—discovering her greatest professional fulfillment in the healthcare space.

Mitzi holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing from El Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS University) in Mexico. She has earned advanced certifications in Health Care Innovation and The Economics of Healthcare Delivery from the University of Pennsylvania, and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing certification from the University of Virginia. Throughout her career, Mitzi has held key marketing and communications roles with notable organizations including Banner Health, Macerich Corporation, NASCAR, and Gannett. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking mountain trails with her husband and spending quality time with her two children.

Bryan serves as the Director of Business Development for Arizona Center for Cancer Care, where he leads the physician relations team and focuses on strengthening oncology networks and improving patient access and experience. Guided by a career built on “best-in-class” service, Bryan is committed to ensuring every patient can find and benefit from the highest quality oncology care. His dedication is also personal, shaped by supporting close family members through cancer and understanding the importance of compassionate care for both patients and their loved ones.

Bryan holds a Master of Education in Biomechanics from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Valdosta State University. His early career included serving as an athletic trainer for the Arizona Rangers, contributing to athlete care at the United States Olympic Committee training center in Lake Placid, and supporting nationally competitive teams at UCLA.

Sharon has been an integral part of Arizona Center for Cancer Care since 2016, contributing her expertise in key operational and administrative functions to support our mission of caring for our patients and caring for each other. Prior to joining AZCCC, she served as the Director of Development for United Cerebral Palsy, where she played a pivotal role in driving growth and advancing the organization’s impact. A native of New York, Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from New York University (NYU). Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, exploring art exhibitions, hiking, reading, and traveling. A dedicated music enthusiast, Sharon is a devoted fan of U2 and has attended an impressive 55 U2 concerts.

Kim brings a unique blend of strategic insight, project leadership, and administrative expertise to her dual role, supporting executive leadership and driving key initiatives across the organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University San Bernardino, a master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and recently completed a Project Management program through the University of Arizona.
