Biography
Alissa Olguin is a Family Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, with over nine years of diverse nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Phoenix, driven by a deep commitment to advancing her clinical expertise and delivering a higher standard of patient care.
Alissa began her career as a Registered Nurse with Banner Health in the telemetry observation unit, where she developed a strong clinical foundation. She subsequently transitioned into labor and delivery, where she spent six years honing her skills in women’s health and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in high-acuity settings.
Board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Alissa is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse patient population. She is passionate about delivering individualized, evidence-based care, with a strong emphasis on patient education and preventative health. She believes in empowering patients with the knowledge and tools necessary to take an active role in their long-term wellness.
Known for her compassionate approach and clinical excellence, Alissa is dedicated to fostering meaningful patient relationships and achieving optimal health outcomes.
Outside of her professional practice, Alissa enjoys spending time with her three children, maintaining an active lifestyle, and exploring new dining experiences.
