Gabriella Smith, MD

Dr. Gabriella Smith received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Smith specializes in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of patients with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar cancers. She is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique clinical situation. She is dedicated to optimizing surgical outcomes through minimally invasive techniques, sentinel lymph node mapping, and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Smith is passionate about healthcare policy and patient advocacy and actively engages in these efforts at the local, state, and national levels. She prioritizes empowering patients to be active participants in their care, with an emphasis on education and shared decision-making. Her practice is grounded in a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach across the full continuum of cancer care – from diagnosis and surgery to treatment, survivorship, and supportive care.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking the beautiful Arizona desert, and tasting new teas.
