Biography
Dr. Talukdar was born and raised in the picturesque state of Assam, India, where she completed her early education. She earned her medical degree from Gauhati Medical College, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India. Driven by a strong interest in gynecologic oncology, she moved to the United States to advance her training. She completed a second residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Henry Ford Health System in Michigan, followed by fellowships in critical care and gynecologic oncology. Her training in critical care enhanced her clinical judgment, problem-solving, and ability to manage complex and critically ill patients, strengthening her overall approach to cancer care.
Dr. Talukdar specializes in the treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and other malignancies of the female reproductive system. She has extensive experience in laparoscopic, robotic, and complex pelvic and abdominal surgeries, allowing her to provide advanced, minimally invasive treatment options tailored to each patient.
