Dr. Clarence Adoo specializes in hematology, oncology and internal medicine.
Dr. Adoo joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree from Achimota School Sixth Form College in Ghana. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School. Dr. Adoo completed his internship and residency at the St. Agnes Hospital, where he would eventually serve as the chief resident. He completed a fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Greenbaum Cancer Center.
Dr. Adoo has been or is currently a member of the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine, American Association of Blood Banks, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncologists amongst others.
Dr. Adoo has publications in several journals and authored many chapters in books, including Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Alternative Management Strategies in Alloimmunized Thrombocytopenic Patients, Infection in the Neutropenic Host, Management of infection in Oncology Patients and Adult Leukemia: American Cancer Society Atlas. In addition to his published work, Dr. Adoo has participated in several presentations at the Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program, National Institute of Health, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society/Cure for Lymphoma Association and Phoenix Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Ivor Benjamin specializes in minimally invasive surgery using the da Vinci surgical robot, and has performed more than 1,300 complex robotic gynecologic surgeries for both cancer and non-cancerous conditions.
Dr. Benjamin joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, respectively, in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Benjamin attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He completed both his internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then completed a three-year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Following this, he returned to Philadelphia where he served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Benjamin is an Associate Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Specializing in minimally invasive surgery using the da Vinci surgical robot, and has performed more than 1,000 complex robotic gynecologic surgeries for both cancer and non-cancerous conditions. He serves as a robotic surgery proctor for training and skills certification of other surgeons throughout the country for Intuitive Surgical on the da Vinci Surgical System. Christina Celestino is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Arizona Center for Cancer Care. Christina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In November of 2014, Christina earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Prior to joining Arizona Center for Cancer Care, Christina gained experience as a registered nurse in Hematology/Oncology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Christina is licensed in the state of Arizona as both a Registered Nurse and as an Advanced Practice Nurse-Nurse Practitioner. She has certifications in Chemotherapy administration through Oncology Nursing Society, Basic Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Christina is an active member of several national nursing organizations, including Oncology Nursing Society, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Dr. Choi joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in October 2008. He received his Bachelor degree in Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University. He completed medical school at Wright State University School of Medicine, his medical residency at Loyola University Medical Center and fellowship at the University of Arizona Medical Center where he was the chief fellow.
Dr. Choi has participated in a number of research studies involving role of U5 in mRNA splicing complex, second allogeneic transplant for relapsed high-grad hematologic malignancies, radiation therapy for gastroesophageal junction and gastric carcinoma as well as transcriptosome profiling of B-CLL to identify novel markers for prognosis and therapeutic targets.
In addition to his research, Dr. Choi has been published in the Journal of Bone Marrow Transplant and has presented his research findings at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting.

Dr. Iyengar subsequently completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she would eventually serve as chief fellow. Prior experience includes time as assistant professor of Hematology/Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center as well as the Dallas VA Medical Center, where she was active in clinical research and teaching.

Dr. Ogunleye’s career begin in Africa, initially at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital and Federal Medical Center in Nigeria where he completed an internship serving as House Officer. Following a move to Botswana, Dr. Ogunleye served as Medical Officer at LifeCare Medical Center before moving to Port Elizabeth, South Africa where he was the Senior Medical Officer at Nelson Mandela Metropole Hospital.
In 2008 Dr. Ogunleye became an attending physician at Community Health and Trinity Hospital in Moline, Illinois, a hospitalist at Cogent Healthcare, Medical Center of Central Georgia and completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at William Beaumont Hospital, Oakland University William Beaumonth School of Medicine in Royal Oak Michigan, where he served as Chief Fellow 2016-2017. Dr. Ogunleye has presented abstracts at ASCO, ASH and SOHO annual meetings and has published in both national and international journals as the first author on targeted therapy and immunotherapy in lung cancer, CLL, CML and gastric cancer.
Dr. Ogunleye joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in September of 2017 where his passion is providing high quality and professional care to his patients through continuing education.
Dr. Ogunleye was the winner of the Scholar Award in the Department Hematology/Oncology for the Best Published Fellow in 2016 and 2017.

Dr. Selyne Samuel obtained fellowship training in Breast Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center in Ohio. She received advanced training in nipple sparing mastectomies, noninvasive breast biopsies, the complexities of genetic testing, and the management of high risk patients. Having trained at the Cleveland Clinic, a renowned tertiary cancer center, she is a strong advocate of a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care and the value of integrating holistic approaches. She completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Arizona and earned her MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology.
Dr. Selyne Samuel believes that Breast surgery is a specialty that requires the close collaboration of multiple physicians and the patient to overcome the trial of breast cancer. She is honored as a breast surgeon to travel on this journey with her patients; to guide them with the most effective surgical options that fit their goals and achieve the best cosmesis.
