He joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2010 when Valley Urology Associates, which he founded, entered into partnership with them. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University and attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Blick trained as a resident in both General Surgery and Urology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. In addition, his residency required him to complete six months of oncology training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
In Arizona, Dr. Blick currently serves as the Chief of Staff at Paradise Valley Hospital. He has also previously served as the Medical Director and Chairman of the Board at the Surgical Elite Surgery Center, the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Paradise Valley Hospital, West Valley Hospital, and Maryvale Hospital.
He has attended multiple courses on advanced techniques for penile prosthesis insertion for erectile dysfunction, pelvic floor reconstruction for pelvic prolapse and stress urinary incontinence, laser surgery and UROLIFT for BPH, cyroablation and robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomies for prostate cancer, and hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomies for kidney cancer.

During his term, Dr. Blunt was responsible for educating residents and medical students at the University of Chicago Urology Residency Program and the Chicago Medical School, respectively. Dr. Blunt also served as the institution’s physician liaison to The Commission on Cancer for The American College of Surgeons, making Dr. Blunt a leading authority in urologic oncology.

Dr. Buresh joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2013 when Desert Springs Cancer Care Center, which he founded, partnered with the practice. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Latin, respectively, from the University of Arizona, where he was named outstanding graduating senior in the College of Humanities. Dr. Buresh attended medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his fellowship at the Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, where he would eventually serve as chief fellow and participate in research in the field of myelodysplasia.

Dr. Chehval was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate taining at the University of Dayton in Ohio, earning a Bachelors Degree in science with a minor in psychology. He then went on to complete a Masters Degree with a thesis in physiology at Loyola University in Chicago in 2005. Following, he attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was awarded Honors for the top performance in the behavioral sciences department and for the most outstanding ability in the department of surgery. He graduated medical school in 2010 and completed the early years of his residency at St. Louis University before completing his training in urology at the University of Iowa in 2017.

She completed her general surgery training at Pennsylvania State University Milton S. Dr. Derus earned her undergraduate degree in both Biology and Psychology from Purdue University and went on to complete one year of clinical research at The University of Chicago. Subsequently, Dr. Derus received her Medical Degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Derus completed her General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the University of Cincinnati. Much of her training was at the University Hospital, a designated Level I Trauma Center and a nationally ranked Adult Urology Hospital by US News & World Report.
During Dr. Derus’ residence she received one of University of Cincinnati’s most prestigious resident awards, The Graduate Medical Trainnee Award of Excellence, given to the resident demonstrating exemplary professionalism, leadership and patient care.

Dr. Lindauer completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio; training at their NCI-designated cancer center with exposure to a variety of cancers as well as clinical trials.
Dr. Lindauer has held a variety of leadership roles. She was Chief Resident of the Department of Internal Medicine, serving an additional year after completing her residency in San Antonio. She also served as Chief Fellow during her last year of fellowship in San Antonio. Dr. Lindauer has several abstracts and poster presentations at local and national meetings, including ASCO Survivorship Symposium, ASCO Quality Care Symposium and ASH Hematologic Malignancies. She is passionate about engagement within her community and has presented at Updates for the San Antonio Community from the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in 2017.

Dr. Lipika McCauley, M.D. is a board certified urologist who specializes in the cutting edge technology of neuromodulation in the treatment of urinary incontinence and overactive bladders. Currently, she is the leading urologist in the state of Arizona providing this service. She is also very focused in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, female urology, and minimally invasive robotic surgery.

Her goal is to empower patients with increased awareness and a strategy for early detection or risk reduction. Being a fellowship trained breast surgeon, she is uniquely qualified to discuss preventative surgeries. Dr. Nakamura completed her Breast Surgery Oncology fellowship at the University of California with the nationally renowned breast surgeon, Dr. Melvin Silverstein, and has contributed a chapter in his book. Dr. Anushka Patel is a board-certified radiation oncologist and is an expert in using Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), as well as Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), to treat a multitude of cancers including those of the breast, lung, head and neck, and gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Patel is experienced in the delivery of Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for intracranial, spinal, and lung treatments. She is also a radiation oncology attending for the Honor Health Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Patel joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Saint Louis University. She completed medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and her residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she would eventually serve as chief resident. She has published and presented at national meetings on SRS for brain metastases from breast cancer, SBRT for central lung lesions, and radiographic abnormalities detected at the time of CT simulation. Dr. Patel has been practicing in the Scottsdale and Deer Valley regions since 2009 and believes in taking a personalized and individualistic approach towards all her patients. She completed medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and both her internship and fellowship at the University of Chicago before serving as resident, then chief resident, at the Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology at the Michael Reese/University of Chicago Center for Radiation Therapy.
Dr. Coral Quiet is credited for bringing breast brachytherapy to Arizona in 2000. She helped to pioneer the Mammosite catheter for the FDA studies and has been involved with that device’s long-term use and research. After much experience with the device, she realized that it was limited, in fact could only treat 60% of the patients we were seeing with early stage breast cancer. She has since helped pioneer the SAVI catheter which is able to treat many more women with early stage breast cancer while avoiding high dose to skin and ribs. Newer devices are being worked on that will continue to develop breast cancer treatment options.
Dr. Quiet is certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and serves as a member of the medical advisory and as spokesperson for the American Cancer Society as well as a member of the Cancer Committee at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea. She co-founded and served as volunteer medical director for the Arizona Institute for Breast Health for two decades. She is currently a member of the American Board of Radiology, American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Arizona Medical Association and American Brachytherapy Society. She has been honored among the “Most Intriguing Women in Arizona’s History” by the Arizona Historical Society as well as a finalist for the Arizona Athena Award. Dr. Quiet has also been honored among the “Most Influential Women in Arizona Business by AZ Business Magazine and among the “Most Dynamic Women in Arizona,” by the Phoenix Business Journal. She is a multi-year “Top Doc” honoree by Phoenix Magazine.
Dr. Torre H. Rhoades specializes in urology, with a focus on urooncologic surgery, a skill set that is embraced by only a select group of urologists in Arizona.
Dr. Rhoades joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2010. He attended the University of New Mexico before earning early admittance to medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he was also vice president of the American Medical Student Association. Dr. Rhoades also completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he would eventually serve as chief resident. While in residency, Dr. Rhoades was recognized for his outstanding laparoscopic and robotic skills, and he was given the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award. He completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic at Florida in Urologic Oncology.
Dr. Rhoades is an expert with robotics and laparoscopy, and uniquely offers Continent Diversions (NeoBladders) for patients requiring radical cystectomy for muscle invasive bladder cancer. In addition to complex cancer surgery, Dr. Rhoades is well respected for his skills as a General Urologist.
Dr. Rhoades is certified to perform endocare-cryotherapy for prostate and kidney cancers as well as certified to apply treatment technologies using the da Vinci Surgical System, Advanced Male Sling System and Greenlight PV Laser System, respectively.
Dr. Rhoades has been published in American Surgeon, the Journal of Urology and British Journal of Hematology, among others. He is a member of the Society of Urologic Oncology, Endourological Society and American Urulogical Association.
