About Dr. Gunia

Dr. Gunia is one of the few sub-specialty Fellowship Trained Breast Surgical Oncologists in Scottsdale. She is committed to the treatment of breast disease.

Dr. Gunia is dedicated to bringing the highest level of breast care. She incorporates her expertise in the newest technologies. Even more, Dr. Gunia specializes in both the diagnosis and the treatment of breast cancer.

Most noteworthy, Dr. Gunia joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2015. Furthermore, Dr. Gunia earned her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. In addition, She obtained her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Gunia completed her general surgery training through Ohio University. Furthermore, she specialized in Breast Surgical Oncology at Akron General Medical Center in Ohio. As a result, today Dr. Gunia sees patients at the Scottsdale location.

Dr. Gunia enjoys playing cards. In additoin, she also enjoys country line dancing, relaxing by the pool with a good book, traveling, attending concerts. Even more, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their two tabby cats.
