Biography
Courtney Russell is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Arizona Center for Cancer Care, partnering closely with Dr. Clarence Adoo. Originally, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University in 2013. Her passion for nursing led her to advance and pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating from Grand Canyon University in 2016. Her nursing experience includes working within the inpatient setting, including observation, oncology, and cardiac progressive care units. After working as a registered nurse for five years she then achieved her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating from Grand Canyon University to become a nurse practitioner in 2021.
Courtney is a member of several professional associations including: Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; and Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology. She believes in providing patients with education and knowledge that will help them along in their medical journey. She is driven to continually strive to serve her patients through understanding their unique needs and how she can help them along the way.
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She possesses a passion for traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
