Philosophy of Care
Stephanie is an Arizona native and has lived most of her life in the northwest valley. She attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate education in nursing and upon completion started her nursing career at Mayo Clinic as a hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant nurse. Stephanie loved working with cancer patients and found each day to be inspiring working with this population.
Once Stephanie became a family nurse practitioner she transitioned into primary care and educational settings, but always felt called to work with oncology patients and those at risk for cancer. She believes that every patient is “someone’s someone” and deserves the best individualized care possible to address their unique conditions and risk factors. Stephanie is excited to be in a setting that allows her to work with patients whom she feels called to serve.
Stephanie also serves with Special Olympics as the Medical Director for MedFest and was awarded in 2024 the Golisano Health Leader of the Year for the outreach work that she has done for them. Stephanie loves to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals to understand the importance of giving back to the community around them.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. You can find her most weekends on the soccer fields cheering them on. Stephanie and her family are also very active in their local church. She loves to cook and spend time at the gym. She believes in the importance of living a healthy lifestyle to inspire those around her.
